Haverhill Local History Centre.
Our archives which include photographs and publications, research papers, maps and more, are a valuable resource for groups and individual teachers and students.
Group visits may be arranged depending on availability of History Group volunteers and a meeting room. Space is limited in the History Centre so whole class visits are held in the Arts Centre studio or main hall. These rooms are in high demand and we advise booking well in advance. Haverhill Arts Centre charges apply.
A1 exhibition panels on topics such as Haverhill's railways, lost buildings of Haverhill and Haverhill Then and Now are available for loan, as is a classroom set of Victorian Haverhill photograph booklets. Booking is required.
Loan boxes are available from St Edmundsbury Heritage Service by contacting Moyse's Hall Museum.
Please ring or email for an appointment to see how the Local History Centre can be used as a learning resource.
